Kicking it off on the first of the month, Amy performed at the Songsalive! monthly showcase in Los Angeles and was also chosen to be featured as the Songsalive! Artist of the Month (www.songsalive.org). She is performing again in a few days on MONDAY NOVEMBER 19 in the SoCalMusicLive Acoustic Competition at the lovely Karma Coffeehouse in Hollywood, 8PM. After The Fall EP continues to receive airplay! Amy is a three time reigning Champion in the Duke’s New Music Playoffs (THANKS for voting) and is back in the running again this week. CREATIVITY IN LA
Amy is having so much fun exploring Los Angeles – walking and biking get you further than you would think! – and she is finding plenty of other musician and artistic collaborators in the city. She got to know her friends at ASCAP in LA a little better, explored the Center for Conscious Creativity, attended REMIX Hotel at the LA outpost of one of her alma maters – the SAE Institute of Technology – where she met some other producers, brushed up on skills, attended artist development panels, and checked out cool new gear. All of this plus a few more new songs brewing that go nicely with what has already been done for the album. Great timing, as she will be in the studio this winter…
