It has been a glorious weekend in New York, reconnecting with friends, family, architecture, open spaces, skylines, subway, and the spirit and rhythm of the city…photos, stories and blogs will be updated soon, as spending more time living in and enjoying each moment, since tomorrow morning am leaving for DC and more shows on this August mini-tour, so please make it out to the West Village tonight for the live recording of my mostly acoustic show back at the Bitter End!

My friend the talented soulful blues guitarist Kirsten Thien (and recent winner of the Abe Olman Scholarship from the Songwriter’s Hall of Fame opens the evening promptly at 7PM with a brief solo set on her Taylor guitar ( and then I will share songs new and old with you on the grand piano and a touch of the drum at 7:30, including the recent single MARY (her story) the East Coast premiere of “Come Over” & “Rain Come Round”, guest artists and friends Amanda Abizaid (4400 Theme Song, on LA WOMAN Summer Tour) adding flute to “Queendom Come”, Morry Campbell adding guitar & rhythmic stylings to “From Here” and Drew Brody (M-Lab, Producer) adding harmonies and vocals to “Love is The Way”. Perhaps even another special guest named Mary? & the newest song finished this week “Give it Back”, which those in Williamsburg were treated to at the Rose show in Brooklyn on Friday night…

$10 cover tonight with partial proceeds to the Amazon Conservation Team, a 4-Star Environmental Charity helping to preserve the rainforest by working with indigenous people . . .(

Happy to see everyone and looking forward to a great night of music on Bleecker Street…Abby Bernstein follows my set, and eventually we will make our way for a bite somewhere nearby…please come celebrate this night of live music in one of my favorite cities in the world…
