Zonas Verdes de Punta Banda is the first Civil Association established in an area known as Punta Banda which covers the region of the road from Maneadero to La Bufadora.
The association was formed with the aim of protecting the environment and upgrading the living conditions. This non profit Association wants to help on the conservation of the delicate components of the ecosystem and preserve the beauty of the surroundings, with the active collaboration of its inhabitants.
The main objective of the association is to protect the environment and to improve the conditions of social well-being by means of the restoration and preservation of the ecological balance in Punta Banda and its bordering areas, working on programs that permit the participation and inclusion of the different sectors of the community. The association aims to to promote a healthy life style and to face the development of the area using the resources in a sustainable way.
